Camp 3 Studios was an extra-curricular collaboration, seeking a creative outlet for game ideas beyond my professional career in the games industry.
Go Blowfish was the product of wanting to learn as much as we could about developing our own project, from start to finish and take it to market. Released in 2016 for mobile devices (Google / Apple store), we loved describing the game as a cute Dark Souls like game, as it was rutheless and unforgiving yet charming and hilarious. Although the fish does get mutilated in several ways, we decided not to use blood, as initially intended, and opt instead for more of a "water baloon" feel, to make it more accessible to younger audiences.
One of my favorite things still (as of 2025) is to see my kids laughing as they show their friends how to play. Although the game is no longer available for download, I must admit to considering fixing /re-releasing it at some point for free.
